How to get MBBS admission in Tamil Nadu?

The admission to Tamil Nadu MBBS 2018 will be conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) for the 85% state quota seats. 

Candidates will be granted admission to Tamil Nadu MBBS 2018 on the basis of the NEET UG score and the preference of the candidates’ while online filling-up of choices.

Only the candidates who fill up the application form of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2018 will be eligible for Tamil Nadu MBBS admission 2018. 

The last date of issue of application form is June 18, 2018 and candidates can submit the application form until June 19, 2018. The candidates filling up the online application will have to attend the document verification session in order to be included in the merit list of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2018 admission. 

Admission to Tamil Nadu MBBS 2018 will be conducted for 3,456 medical seats and 1,201 dental seats in the government as well as private colleges. The candidates included in the state merit list will have to opt for online choice filling for admission to Tamil Nadu MBBS 2018. 

The counselling process of Tamil Nadu MBBS admission 2018 will from July 1, 2018 onwards.


What is the total number of seats in India available through NEET 2018?

Total number of MBBS seats is 52715. 
Total number of private college seats is 26835. 
Total number of government seats is 25880.
What is the total number of medical colleges in India?
There are a total of 412 medical colleges in India. Out of 412 colleges, 
190 are government colleges. 
222 are private medical colleges.
